Kids
The kids played in the gym at church while Bill received his eagle. Here are a few pictures of these crazy kiddos!
Eagle Scout
I guess my blog is all about my brothers tonight. My brother Bill ( William) received his Eagle tonight in scouts. This is a BIG deal. I am so proud of him for his accomplishment. Malcolm just loves his Uncle Bill. Bill, always remember what you have learned in Scouts. It will be a great guide as you prepare for the end of high school, and going on a mission. I love you
My Brother
This is my youngest brother Dixon. He is fifteen years old, ALMOST 16. ( watch out ladies!) Johnny took this picture of him tonight and I have to blog about him. I am ten years older than him. He has the mental capacity of about my sons age due to a stroke after he was born and a severe heart defect. He can only walk a little, hence his cool wheelchair. He goes to high school with my other brother Bill. I tell you this not to feel sorry for him or me, but so you can know how lucky I am. He gives me kisses , high fives, and lights up when I am around. I used to feel sorry for my family because of how hard life can be with him. But, it is worth it. He brings so much joy and happiness to me and everyone around him. I am thankful everyday for him. My desire is to be faithful in this life so I can talk to my brother in the next and he can tell me his thoughts, feelings and I can see him run. Dixon, I love you.
Your Sister Forever,

Time
Last Summer ,visit to Utah, Grandpa CraigTime goes by fast. It never feels like it until it has caught up with us. I look at Malcolm everyday and see an older boy. He talks so well, he is VERY active. I am in love with him. Johnny and I know we have the sweetest boy on the planet. Moms, why can't we think of our children with out a tear coming to our eyes? ( or streaming down our face.)
I have also thought about time in reference to my Grandpa Craig. He found out he has stage four cancer. We don't have a lot of facts yet but I have been sad. I love him SO much. I have remembered all of the times my Grandpa has been at my birthday parties, visited us wherever the Air Force sent us when I was young. He is handsome, has the most beautiful blue eyes ( just like Malcolm), and the MOST wonderful and beautiful singing voice. I am not saying he won't be here for a long time to come, I just always want to have him here. Grandpa, I love you. You are my favorite Grandpa.
Time flies. It is just a fact. We need to be careful how we spend it. What we fill it up with.
Love, Jen ( Malcolm's Mom, Johnny's wifey)

Wedding !
He would rarely stand still for a picture!
We begged him to give Dorey a kiss!
Hey Baby!!!!
Malcolm and the flower girl. She is to old for you kid!
He was obsessed with trying to climb these stairs. He looks very Elvis here !Malcolm was chosen to be in a friends wedding. They said he was the cutest kid they knew, so who better to be the ring bearer then him! I am trying to be humble but he is THE CUTEST KID! He loved his tuxedo. He walked around ( or ran around) with an air that said " Hello World, I make James Bond look bad!" We laughed because right before the wedding he got this gigantic zit on his cheek. What 19 month old gets a zit! He must have been nervous! Enjoy! Dorey and Adam, thank you for letting us into your wedding!

How you know you have lost the battle
I realize that Mac is with his mom all day everyday, and he only sees me in the mornings and the evenings. So naturally he has an attachment to his mom. Last night I saw how far that goes.
The past few days I have been teaching Mac to play Mario Kart (he loves that he can pause the game.) Last night Jen suggested that her and I race (the first time in well over 2 years, I obliged and we were off. It was a great race with countless lead changer but with half a lap to go I was in 8th and she was in 1st. Somehow I managed to start making up ground fast and as she crosses the finish line I pass Jen to get 1st place by less than .1 seconds. I throw my hands up in celebration at my thrilling come from behind victory. Exasperated, Jen starts calling foul. Malcolm seeing this jumps to his mothers defense and start wagging his finger at me and saying "no, no, no!" He looks back to his mom with a smile and quickly turns back to me with a scowl and reminds me that whatever I have done must be wrong. Hopefully in a year or so I will have won him over with my superior driving style. ;)
